Saudi Arabia 2-1 Egypt

A lovely goodbye story between Saudi Arabia & Egypt – MERITED!!!

EEgypt's Essam El-Hadary became the oldest-ever player to perform in a World Cup and saving a penalty. Unlucky, that has not inspired his teammates to go beyond his save and secure a win after leading partially the match. 45 Years old and 161 days. LEGEND!!

  1. Mohamed Salah against all odds and controversy from worldwide press, but especially domestic one, scored a stunner to take Egypt forward, but they did not managed to keep the scoreboard in their favor as they ended up losing the match in the ultimate chance of it. BEATLES’ GOAL!!
  2. Saudi Arabia was able to perform an unlikely special end by both halves, when they destroyed any possibility of offering to the Egyptian Gods by scoring two goals outclassing the African and sending them back to the desert with an overall disappointing performance.

Salman Al Faraj through the penalty-spot and Salem Al Dawsari guaranteed that Saudi Arabia would leave Russia with at least three points in the baggage ending up their winless streak of 12 matches at the World Cups, after they did it last time against Belgium in 1994, with the wonder-goal of inspired Saeed Al-Owairan. One of the best goals in the history of World Cups.

  3. Saudi Arabia 2-1 Egypt
